Download QR codes, table tents, and window signs

Choose the menu and format

Open desktop Web menu, or mobile Share → Web menu & QR, and choose the correct Menu. You can also open Menu card from Your menu and select the Web menu & QR tab. Check Web menu is on and open View web menu before making materials. A QR code can be generated while a menu is paused, but scanning it will show the holding page.

Under Download your QR code, choose a File type. PNG · documents and sharing is useful for placing the code in a document or sending an image. SVG · printing at any size keeps the code sharp when a designer resizes it. Include the Dishcard wordmark changes the downloaded presentation, not the menu it opens.

Create the materials

1. Select Download QR code for the selected format and wordmark choice.
2. For ready-to-print materials, select Download table tent or Download window sign. The table tent includes the restaurant name and QR code; the window sign is intended for an entrance or host stand.
3. Open each downloaded file. Check the restaurant name and scan the code from the file before printing a batch.
4. Print one sample at the final size. Keep the code square, preserve its light border, and avoid placing text or decoration over its pattern.
5. Scan the physical sample in the lighting and location where guests will use it. Open the result on a guest phone and verify the correct restaurant and menu.

Use a hosted address that guest devices can reach. A link to an app running on your computer is not a public menu link. If the page displays a local-hosting notice, confirm the actual address before distributing anything.

Know when to replace a QR code

Updating ingredients, dishes, or the menu name keeps the existing menu link. That means you normally keep the printed QR materials and update the menu information in Dishcard.

Using Change the menu link once replaces that address. After confirming Change and lock link, download new QR files and replace every old code. Do not assume a custom-domain connection changes the target inside an existing Dishcard QR image; check what the code actually opens.

If a phone cannot scan the sample, enlarge the code, improve contrast and lighting, and try an unaltered download. If it scans but opens a holding or missing-menu page, troubleshoot publication, billing, and the saved link rather than redesigning the QR pattern.
