Choose the access the person needs

Open Team on desktop or Settings → Team access. Confirm the restaurant name first: an invitation belongs to that restaurant. Unlimited team seats are included, and each teammate signs in with their own email.

RoleUse it for
OwnerRestaurant settings, billing, team access, and menu information. The owner cannot be changed or removed from this screen.
EditorPeople who maintain dishes and ingredients, publish menus, use outputs, and review activity.
ViewerPeople who need to read menu and dish information without editing. Their normal navigation is reduced.

Team access is not the public guest menu. Give a guest the published menu link rather than a team invitation or staff PIN.

Teammate invitation controls Enlarge screenshot
Owners enter a teammate’s email address and choose an appropriate role. This unsent example contains no invitation link.

Send and verify an invitation

  1. Under Invite a teammate, enter the person’s Email address.
  2. Choose Editor or Viewer in Access, then select Send invitation.
  3. Check Your team for the matching address and Invitation pending badge.
  4. Ask the teammate to open the sign-in link using that email address. If needed, they can request a fresh link from the sign-in page with the same address.
  5. Refresh Team access and confirm the badge changes to Active. Have the teammate check the restaurant name and available controls.

A sent message is not confirmation that the person accepted the invitation. If the app says email is local, it is not delivering invitations to an external mailbox.

Fix an invitation or change access

If you see This person already has access or an invitation, inspect the existing team row instead of repeatedly inviting the address. If a sending error occurred, a pending invitation may still appear; the teammate can try the normal sign-in flow with that address.

The owner can change the row’s role selector between Editor and Viewer. Use Revoke invitation for a pending invitation or Remove access for an active member, then confirm the removal. Access is revoked immediately; you can invite the person again later.

New invitations require editing to be available. Owner role changes and access removal remain separate from recipe editing. If you are not the owner, ask the listed restaurant owner to make the change.
