Update restaurant details, allergens, and output preferences

Save the restaurant profile

Open Settings → Restaurant profile. On smaller screens, use the Settings page selector to move between settings. Other team members can view many settings, but profile, allergen-set, and output-preference changes are managed by the owner.

1. Check the selected restaurant, then update Restaurant name, address, city, state or region, phone, website, and cuisine as needed.
2. Set Restaurant time zone using a value such as America/New_York. Specials end at midnight in this time zone, so do not treat it as a cosmetic preference.
3. Use Upload logo or Replace logo for a PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 12 MB. Remove logo clears the current choice.
4. Select Save changes. Uploading a logo alone does not apply it to the restaurant profile.
5. Confirm All changes saved and reopen the menu card or web menu to check the result.

Change the tracked allergen set carefully

In Allergen settings, choose US Big 9 or EU 14 and any needed Additional flags. This controls the columns and filters shown on cards and the public menu. Confirm the set your restaurant needs before publishing.

1. Read Review before changing your set and its ingredient and dish counts.
2. Select Review changes. Check what is now tracked and which labels will no longer be shown separately.
3. Choose Save allergen set, or Keep current set to cancel.
4. Use Review ingredients to finish the affected checks against current recipes and supplier labels.

Existing positive flags are retained. Newly tracked allergens can require fresh review; until complete, affected dishes are excluded from allergen-filtered guest results.

Apply output preferences and verify

In Output preferences, select Letter or A4, choose the May-contain marker, and decide whether to include preparation notes in print. Show dish prices affects entered prices on the public web menu, not printed cards. Public preparation notes also require the relevant dish-level public setting.

Select Save preferences and generate a fresh card. Check a known dish, the legend, the logo, and the Updated time. Older files do not adopt the new settings.

If you see Managed by your restaurant owner, ask the owner to save changes. If the owner sees Editing is paused, review Plan & billing. If saving fails, keep the form open, correct the named field, and wait for an explicit saved state before navigating away.
